Ravel bolero schubert haendel

The queen of england, manager of the greatest loot in world history was born today and is now 84 years old. IMHO she should stay queen even after her embalming, as a memory to all those peasants and soldiers who died for her family fortune.
On this day, by chance we went to a free promo concert - sponsored by am evil news-corporation (google operation mockingbird) - who paid for a professional ensemble of musicians. They played a few bars of Ravel's Bolero as a teaser, and an hour (or more) of classic hits from a bygone era. Schubert and Haendel, both professionals in their trade, but not really exciting in the modern sense.
Johann Christian Bach sounded similar, proper and uninteresting classic melodies and cadenza. Freude, schoener Goetterfunken, water music bla bla...
