PMWIKI migration from 0.4.23 to 2.2.1 howto

http://t3n.de/opensource/data/logos/pmwiki.gif

I had to migrate from older 0.4.2 pmwiki
THAT HAS DIFFERENT WIKI-MARKUPS
to pmwiki 2.2  and was facing the nightmare
of having to change 200 pages by hand:

Like so:

From: [[RubyEaston Ruby Easton]]
To: [[RubyEaston |Ruby Easton]]

aaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrgggggghhhhhhhhhhh!

I downloaded the wiki.d folder,
noting its permissions (664), and
used UEDIT  (uedit-32 ver5)

->Search -> Replace in Files

X Match Case
X Regular Expressions

SEARCH FOR     ^(^[^[*^) ^(*^]^]^)
REPLACE WITH   ^1 |^2

then uploaded it again and set the permisisons:
cd /var/www/mydomain.com/wikifolder/wiki.d/
chmod 664 *

Ferry trip - steel blue waters

Hello boys and girls,
Again i am on a 4 hour ferry trip to the big stink (that's what new zealanders call the city). The showed the film Avatar - i saw it for the fourth time now - and again it was worth watching. The sun outside is a little strong so i preferred the shade in the cinema.
Jake Sully from the jarhead clan, oh dear!
But the sky people needed to be taught the lesson that they can not get what they want. They need to go back to their dying country.
We are passing Motuihe Island where Graf (Count) Luckner was held (and escaped from). The sea is so calm, we repeatedly saw big fish swimming away, as if they had been woken up by the approaching ship. There are many pleasure boats around, as the water gets greener near the "city of sails" - Auckland - and the views are exciting.
"The Noises" (lots of little islands and reefs, Rakino Island, then the old tall-ship sailing-boat "Spirit of New Zealand", the cliffs of Motutapu, Rangitoto (extinct volcano), Mt. Victoria and North Head coming closer. The coastguard tows a motorboat as we are going past Torpedo Bay. Half of the whole New Zealand Navy is in the base at Devonport, I can see all of our naval combat force which consists of two german 3600 ton 164 crew Blohm+Voss MEKO class frigates, Te Kaha F77 and Te Mana F111.
They cost the New Zealand taxpayer one billion dollars EACh, funds that did NOT go to hospitals and childcare, but to germany, the export world champion.
The Netherlands-built RoRo 9000 ton multirole vessel HMNZS Canterbury (half a billion dollars) at least has a 5 bed hospital, two bed sickbay, an operating theatre, a medical laboratory and a morgue, which was christened with the corpse of able seaman AHSO Byron Solomon 22, who drowned on 5 Oct 2007 under a upturned rigid-hull-inflatable-boat RHIB. I hereby petition the government the ship to be renamed SOLOMON and henceforth all ships to be named after the fpeople who did on them.
Also in port were our new 1900 ton protectors class (Canadian design) offshore patrol vessels, and inshore 340 ton waeships like Her Majesty's New Zealand Ship Taupo. King George 7 ordered his ships to bear thie HMNZS title in 1911, one hundred years ago.
We know elites rule us, we pay for kiwi troops to commit war crimes in Afghanistan, 9 years going and without end.
I recommend listening to "The trouble with Billionaires" and "Peak Oil vs Pathological Optimism" podcasts from www.ecoshock.org
And then help with regime-change.

Island Winter Storm

After a 5 day rain deluge that ended on 19th december we had a wonderful week (with a total lunar eclipse on tuesday evening) and christmas eve.
Christmas day was grey-in-grey but boxing day was fabulous. We went to the beach snorkeling and harvesting mussels for tea (supper). Beautifuk sunset, the solar disc sank beneath the horizon perfectly, but without the "green flash".

A winter storm is in progress as we wake up, and gales from the northwest shake the house a bit. The wind was fierce and warm, how unusual!
Queensland Australia is an under water catastrophe and our South Island also had a river 11 meters above normal and a kilometre wide!!
At 1pm the rain started here, and only stopped at sunset. The sky was eerily purple. And finally the wind died down.
During the rain I started to programme an astronomical A4 wall calendar http://y23.com/apd/ ... it will be an online service for self-printout, a jpg upload and pdf doenload.

Grey-in-grey morning, high-cloud. Time to do some reading. Like the National Geographic (May 2000) about Vikings, who were called RUS by the Slavs and Fins, after the finnic term for Swedes, Ruotsi. The Rus founded the first russian state in Kiev. Then in 988 a Kievan Rus prince, Vladimir, converted to byzantine eastern orthodoxy and thus created east and west. There you have it. The Ukraine is the true Russia, which is Viking.
Leif Eriksson also landed in Canada/usA around the year 1000 and had a military base at L'Anse aux Meadows on Newfoundland.

I walked one hour through the most beautiful bush to the shop to get a bottle of sparkling for midnight celebration of the new year. The shopowner had a computer problem which I was able to solve, and got the bottle for free.
Outside the shop a group of giggling girls had congregated and we joked about drinking the champenoise. At some stage a girl said to another "Mine is a little wobbly on the end" to which I volunteered "Mine, too". Haha, sleezy.

Another sunny day. Today i will bring wireless internet to the crew here.
Maybe you see more frequent blog postings here, from tomorrow onwards.
Sunset photos? Coming up!
